In Louisiana, a bill was purposed that would limit strippers to be “between twenty-one and twenty-eight years of age and shall be no more than one hundred and sixty pounds in weight.” (source)
We all know most politicians like their strippers and hookers to be young and fit. Whomever spearheaded this must be a huge sexual deviant if he is trying to get the government actually involved in this.
I understand if individual strip clubs wants to make this a policy. You could argue that hiring a certain body shape and weight could hurt your business. Do you really think a strip club is going to make money if they have a bunch of overweight dancers with C-section scars? Hell no!
However, the government should in no way be stepping in to make that call. While this amendment was pulled before the Senate could vote, it’s scary enough that it was their to begin with. How the hell are these people getting elected?
